In Japanese mythology, the Tengu are ancient mountain spirits — master craftsmen, warriors, and guardians of sacred knowledge. They were feared not for cruelty, but for their uncompromising standards.
Legend says the Tengu trained Minamoto no Yoshitsune, one of Japan's greatest swordsmen, turning raw talent into legendary skill on the slopes of Mount Kurama.
